Turning Vision Into Action

We also understand the gravity of the decision to invest your hard-earned dollars in a non-profit organization, and the desire to make sure that the investment you’re making is truly making a difference. We’re here to tell you how with Survivors Speak, it is.

Empowering Connectivity

During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, this was seen first-hand by Washtenaw County. Survivor Speak recognized an unaddressed impact on the local elderly population, who didn’t have the means or the know how to navigate remote relationships with loved ones. Survivor Speak, with funding support from Washtenaw Country, providing Galaxy Note Tablets for 43 elderly community members. Even more, our volunteers provided three semesters of informational sessions where seniors could learn and connect, here are some testimonials from them:

“Thank you for this. It has been a life saver for me…”

– L.W.

"Great hands-on teaching"

– E.A.

“I need more practice, but I have appreciated all the help and support given through the class that I attended.”

– B.J.M
